After nine threats, seven arrests
Copperas Cove, TX — Copperas Cove ISD has canceled class for the rest of the week after receiving three more bomb threats on Tuesday.
A total of seven juveniles have been arrested for allegedly making bomb threats at their schools.
The Copperas Cove school district has seen a total of nine bomb threats in the past week.
On Monday, a bomb threat at Copperas Cove Junior High ended with an arrest of a 13-year-old-boy.
An investigation into a bomb threat received on December 7th at S. C Lee Junior High school ended Tuesday with three male teenagers being arrested.
The charge of making a Terroristic Threat is a 3-degree felony that can carry a 10 year prison sentence and a 10 thousand dollar fine.
