Copperas Cove ISD cancels class rest of week

After nine threats, seven arrests

Copperas Cove ISD has canceled class for the rest of the week after receiving three more bomb threats on Tuesday.

A total of seven juveniles have been arrested for allegedly making bomb threats at their schools.

The Copperas Cove school district has seen a total of nine bomb threats in the past week.

On Monday, a bomb threat at Copperas Cove Junior High ended with an arrest of a 13-year-old-boy.

An investigation into a bomb threat received on December 7th at S. C Lee Junior High school ended Tuesday with three male teenagers being arrested.

The charge of making a Terroristic Threat is a 3-degree felony that can carry a 10 year prison sentence and a 10 thousand dollar fine.
