TSTC students to showcase work at Arboretum

(WACO) — Media Communications & Information Technology (MCI) students of Texas State Technical College will showcase their artistic photographs at the Carleen Bright Arboretum beginning Friday, Feb. 24; the exhibit will run through Friday, April 13.

An opening reception will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, at the Arboretum’s Whitehall Center, located at 9001 Bosque Blvd., in Woodway. The event is free of charge, and the public is invited to attend.

The exhibit will be open during the Arboretum’s normal operating hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, but call ahead on Saturday to ensure no special events are taking place, in which case the Arboretum would be closed.

There is no charge to the public to view the exhibit, after which would be the perfect time to take in the beautiful grounds with six acres of formal gardens on the 16-acre property.
