WACO — The Baylor Alumni Association will not be apart of December graduation ceremonies at the school.

Traditionally at graduation, the alumni association presents awards to notable alumni and give a speech to students asking them to remain involved in the school.

Representatives from the alumni association say even though they won't be at the ceremonies, they will still be involved.

School officials said they didn't feel graduation was the proper venue to hand out alumni awards.
