WACO — The Waco City Council will be voting on a smoking ban in the following weeks that could make the city smoke free.

Officials say the ordinance will take out loopholes in the current one, or ban smoking in the city alltogether.

Those in favor of the bill say it will improve public health, while opponents are scared it could hurt business.

The council votes on the ordinance November 3rd.
