WACO— A cummuter jet landed safely in College Station after smoke was reported in the cockpit.

ExpressJet Airlines spokeswoman Kristy Nichols says the flight left Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport about 2 p.m. Monday for Omaha, Nebraska, but had to be diverted 30 minutes later to Easterwood Airport for landing.

Nichols said there were 38 passengers and three crew members on board. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the smoke has not been determined.
