WACO — Julia Ann Schmidt who is accused of running a large scale ponzi scheme entered a not guilty plea in court Thursday.

Officials say Schmidt allegedly stole over $500 thousand dollars from clients.

Schmidt was not orginally booked into jail, but later surrendered to the Federeal Bureau of Investigation when she learned there was a warrant for her arrest.

Schmidt is currently out of jail on bond.
