Motorcycle crash leaves man dead

Waco Officers responded to a crash this morning (6-10-2011) at 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 35 between New Road and Irving Lee. Officers found a single motorcycle rider, 33 year old Jason Aaron Wilson of Waco, lying in the roadway.
 

Wilson had been traveling south on I-35 when he lost control of his 2004 Buell motorcycle for unknown reasons. Wilson struck the median wall, was ejected from his motorcycle and thrown into the northbound lanes. Wilson was wearing a helmet.
 

Jason Aaron Wilson was pronounced deceased at the scene by Justice of the Peace Villarreal at 3:55 a.m. JP Villarreal did not order an autopsy.
 

Victim Services, Accident Reconstruction, and Crime Scene Technicians were called to assist. Interstate traffic was diverted for several hours while officers worked the scene and traffic resumed at approximately 5:20 this morning.
 

Mr. Wilson’s body was taken by Waco Mortuary Service.
