Girls basketball coach Azure Love-Davis died Monday at the age of 31.

She is survived by her husband and two children, one in kindergarten and one in eighth grade.

Love-Davis coached for eight years, the last two seasons as head coach at Waco High School.

Several players said Love-Davis was like a mother to them and was much more then just a coach.

Funeral arrangements are pending.

The cause of her death has not been released.
