Marlin, TX — Residents in the city of Marlin are continuing to see low-water pressure and are being urged to boil drinking water as a precaution.
A delivery man mistakenly put chemicals into a wrong line which caused a mechanical failure in the city's water treatment plant.
The city is working on a few remedies: They are temporarily importing water from the nearby city of Lott, as well as asking local residents to conserve water for the next 48 hours.
The city is also urging local supermarkets to stock more bottled water than usual.
Officials say the problem should be sorted out within the next 2 days.
