1 arrested for aggravated assault, fail to stop, render aid
Waco, Texas (KWKT) — Thursday, around 1:20 p.m.,, Waco detectives arrested 24-year-old Justin Toyin Onalaja at his home for two counts of Aggravated Assault Deadly Weapon Bodily Injury and two counts of Fail to Stop and Render Aid.
These charges stem from the incident that occurred at South 12th and James Ave on June 10.
Warrants were issued last week by Judge Taylor and the suspect, Onalaja was not cooperating with Law Enforcement to turn himself in. He was found today at his residence and taken into custody without incident.
The victim, Irene Ramos, is still in an unconscious state and will be transferred to a nursing home. She is listed in Serious/Critical condition.
