Central Texas — 15 law enforcement agencies were involved in a major traffic enforcement effort along I-35 in Bell, Falls, McLennnan, and Hills counties yesterday.
Officers heavily enforced the streets for 18 hours. DPS alone had 67 patrol units involved. Their officers pulled over 591 cars. Of those stops, four arrest warrants were served. Seven people were found driving while license invalid. And, four people were arrested for drugs.
DPS also inspected 24 large truck tractors, which resulted in the arrest of one driver for DWI.
