Two football officials were arrested during a high school game after they allegedly attempted to throw a police officer out of the game.

The Covington Police Department reports that the incident happened on Friday, Oct. 11 during the third quarter of the game between Mandeville vs. St. Paul. It all started regarding an issue of crowd control.

We’re told a game official became involved in an argument with an officer, which escalated. A second official attempted to interject and became involved in the dispute as well.
