COLLEGE STATION -- Texas A&M's move to the SEC is official in just a couple of months.
So one local store is looking for a unique way to say goodbye to one of A&M's most beloved traditions.
It's a sight all Aggie fans love to see when driving down George Bush Drive, Bevo and the "Saw 'Em Off" mural painted on the side of Aggieland Outfitters' building.
But as A&M heads to the SEC, it's out with the old and in with the new.
"You know, it's time to get ready for everything that comes with that and one of those things is that we're not going to be playing Texas anymore," said Dallas Shipp with Aggieland Outfitters.
So that means saying goodbye to the rivalry and everything associated with it, including Bevo.
Sophomore, Megan Whittleman, thinks it's a good idea.
"If we were going to keep the Bevo out front then that would be kind of hanging on to something that's not really apart of us anymore."
And while Bevo's future is still up in the air, Aggieland Outfitters will put it to a vote.
"We've gotten some great responses so far," said Shipp. "From everything from one guy wants us to roll over a tank with it and we've had people want to put it on top of the Plaza Hotel when they implode it."
But the most popular idea so far...
"Auction it off," said Whittleman. "That could raise money for some charity in College Station."
Shipp adds, "A lot of Aggies are very passionate about service and giving back so for that to be the most popular so far we aren't surprised by that."
You can submit your ideas for Bevo's fate online, which will be decided by the weekend of June 30th... the day before the Aggie's move to the SEC becomes official.
