Monday morning thousands of Aggies waited in line for hours just to get their hands on some A&M vs. Alabama tickets.

"It's indescribable," said Jeffrey Medlin. "I mean, it's awesome that we can finally say, 'We got them, no more waiting and we're ready to go.'"

It's the most anticipated game of the year and Josh Orellana says he feels fortunate to be able to go when so many can't.

"I was kind of wondering maybe should I sell my ticket because everyone was asking $400 or $500 for it but the more I thought about it I decided not to because I've always been that kid that wanted to go to the super bowl and this game is the super bowl of college football," said Orellana.

In fact, tickets are such a hot commodity they have the highest resale value in the SEC.

We did some looking around on the internet and some tickets are going for as much as $1,500 a seat. Others are priced even higher.

Aggies we talked to say they've heard about students selling their sports passes for big bucks, even though it's against the rules.

"If you go on Craigslist or whatever, they're like selling for a $1,00 bucks just for a sports pass and then you have to pay to convert it if you're using it for a guest," said Allisen Jones. "It's crazy."

But most students say their sports passes aren't for sale because they are invaluable.

And now that they have their tickets, they're ready to see some history made on Saturday.

"I just hope we can have a repeat of last year," Jones said. "That would be awesome."

Medlin says "I'm definitely going for a win. There's nothing else."
