SNOOK, TX — Today's weather forced some Brazos Valley schools to shut down early.
Snook ISD dismissed school at 2:00 p.m. today because of flooding on the roadways. All afternoon activities were canceled.
We're also told both Snook and Somerville ISD plan on starting school Thursday morning an hour later to allow for the flooding to subside.
Both schools are scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
