Copperas Cove, Texas – The City of Copperas Cove is pleased to announce a new online portal to enhance community engagement. The portal, Be Heard Cove, can be located on the web at www.beheardcove.org and was launched on Monday, March 17, 2014.
This innovative tool provides another way for the City of Copperas Cove to listen to and hear from our community members. Through one easy-to-use interface residents can post ideas, vote and comment on ideas, share input, and discuss past, present and future City events. Within a few clicks, citizens can easily suggest a new service, a service improvement, or provide other recommendations through the forum. It also allows them to conveniently participate in online surveys sponsored by the City. Staff members will monitor the site, answer questions, and provide feedback online.
This new service is powered through a platform called Civicideas, created by Granicus, Inc. The platform is specifically designed to help governments gather feedback from the public. Currently, Granicus provides transparency and community collaboration solutions to more than 1,000 government agencies across the United States and Canada.
