Rogers, tx — A boil water notice is in effect for Rogers until further notice.
Authorities say a water main broke on south FM 2184, just outside the city, causing a drop in pressure throughout the system. The line has now been fixed, but the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, TCEQ, requires the water to be tested before lifting the boil water notice. Test results may not come in until sometime tomorrow.
Until then, all water that is used for consumption needs to be boiled vigorously before use.
