The second of three co-defendants in a 2011 drug deal murder case has been convicted.

A Brazos County jury found 22-year-old Christopher Hernandez guilty for his role in the October 2011 shooting death of Billy Menard Jr.

Menard died after being shot in the face through his apartment door by Clayton Thompson, who's already serving a 45 year sentence.

Police say Hernandez also fired a gun at Menard's apartment but those rounds never penetrated the door.

Hernandez was sentenced to 37 years in prison.
