BRYAN -- A Bryan man is in jail tonight after police found more than $1,700 and a pound of marijuana in his car.

According to police, 29-year-old Chan Earl Pelton, was arrested after an office found him sleeping in his running car early this morning.

After searching the vehicle, the officer found Xanax pills, over $1,700 in cash and nearly a pound of marijuana.
