BRAZOS COUNTY -- The man responsible for a Christmas night argument that left one man seriously injured nearly a year ago is sentenced to seven years behind bars.

A Brazos County jury found 35-year-old Kevin Dewayne Brown guilty of assaulting a man Christmas night by stomping on his head after a drunken argument turned violent.

Brown was sentenced to seven years in jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
