Bryan man's death sentence overturned
BRYAN -- A Bryan man, who's charged in the 2006 beating and strangling death of his 68-year-old neighbor, had his death sentence overturned.
Christian Olsen was sentenced to the death penalty after a jury found him guilty of capital murder.
That death sentence has now been overturned by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.
This comes after an appeals court ruled that jurors should have heard testimony from an expert who believed Olsen had suffered from sexual abuse.
