Bryan officials seeking man wanted in connection with 2 local robberies

The Bryan Police Department and the Brazos County Sheriff's Office are investigating two local robberies of a grocery store and gas station.

On Friday January 10, at 9:00 p.m., the BCSO responded to the Sunshine Grocery located at 5103 Leonard Road for a robbery that had just occurred. A black male described as mid to late twenties, between 5'8" to 6'0", with a slender build wearing a white t-shirt, grey hoodie, red beanie cap and red colored shorts walked into the store and displayed a firearm while demanding money. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no customers in the store and no one was injured during the robbery

At 11:00 p.m., Bryan Police Officers responded to the Exxon located at 3200 Boonville for another robbery. A black male entered the store, displayed a firearm and demanded money. Based on the physical and clothing description it is potentially the same suspect. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no customers inside the store at the time and no one was injured.
