Bryan PD investigating shooting where 1 was injured

The Bryan Police Department is invesitgating a shooting which injured one person.

On November 15, 2013, at 9:05 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of Bennett Street, to a shooting where it was reported several men contacted a 26-year-old male victim at his residence. A struggle ensued between the victim and one suspect. The victim retreated into the residence when a firearm was discharged striking the victim.

Officers determined the victim had left the scene prior to their arrival and took himself to St. Joseph Hospital. As of November 18th at 9:30 a.m., the victim was still at St. Joseph Hospital in stable condition. The suspects were described as average height and build wearing dark colored pants and light sweatshirts. This case is currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division and no further details are available at this time.
