BRYAN, TX — A Bryan Target employee is caught red-handed stealing cash from her register.

police say 34-year-old Leah Bass was arrested Wednesday for theft.

A corporate audit found a re-occurring shortage from a café register and after further investigation, surveillance video captured Bass pocketing more than $1,500 bucks from the register over the past two months.

Bass told police she stole the cash because, "She could not provide for her family."
