Temple, Texas (KETK) — A Temple convenience store had the unlucky occurrence of the business being robbed twice in a two-day span.
According to the Temple Police Department, at 12:34 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Cefco Texaco Convenience Store in the 3800 block of South 31st Street in reference to a robbery. Police arrived and talked with an employee, who said a man entered the store and pulled a handgun, demanding money.
The bandit was handed cash and ran south from the store. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the robber. The clerk was not hurt during this incident.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 20-30 years old, around 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, tan belt and black shoes. A photo of the gunman is shown.
On Monday, police were again called to the business on a robbery. During this crime, a man entered the store from the south. The robber pointed a black revolver at the employee and demanded the register be opened The clerk followed his command and allowed the thief to take money before leaving the scene on foot headed south.
The gunman was described as a black male wearing a mask, gray button down style shirt, black pants and black shoes.
