Central Texas lake levels are lower than normal

Due to little rain and drought like conditions, lake levels in the Central Texas area are low, but reportedly haven't reached a dangerous level.

Lake Waco is around six feet below its normal level. Still House Hollow dam and Lake Belton are about eight feet below their typical levels.

Every time you head to play in the water, it's very important to wear life jackets and be careful.
