WACO -- A Waco-area man is one step closer to death row after losing his Federal appeal today for the 2003 murder of a teenager.
Carroll Joe Parr, 34, was sentenced in 2004 for shooting and killing 18-year-old Joel Dominguez outside a convenient store.
The shooting followed a drug deal and robbery.
Dominguez was with a friend who was injured but survived.
Parr admits he planned the drug deal but says his friend was responsible for the robbery and shooting.
