Waco , TX — Waco police have arrested the man they say is responsible for robbing a China Spring bank Friday evening.
Milton Lewis Anglin, 68, of China Spring has been arrested on federal charges of bank robbery. Anglin was arrested at his home, located at 5313 Links Drive on Monday evening. Anglin was booked into the McLennan County Jail.
According to police, the armed robbery took place at 5:55 p.m. on Friday at the First National Bank of Central Texas, located at China Spring Hwy and Wortham Bend Road. A white male, described as 5-foot 7-inches tall, weighing180 pounds, displayed a handgun and robbed a teller inside the bank. The robber then drove off in a white, 4-door vehicle, with dark tinted windows and low profile wheels. The vehicle was last seen headed into the residential area behind the bank.
No injuries were repoorted during the robbery. Special Crimes Unit, Victim Services, and the Crime Scene Technicians of Waco Police Department responded to assist.
