The City of Clifton water supply system is presently experiencing deterioration of water quality in the distribution system. Consumer complaints include the occurrence of red and yellow colored water and presence of particles. HDR has been working with the city to identify the source and cause of the colored water event and recommend mitigation strategies. The purposes of this technical memorandum are to resent the finding of the water quality evaluation and to make short-term and long-term recommendation to cure the current event and reduce the likelihood of future events.
