Constuction companies fined for December death

Two Kyle Field construction companies have been issued fines from the U. S. Department of Labor for the December death of a construction worker.

After the investigation, Lindamood demolition was fined $56,000 and Texas Cutting and Coring $63,000.
 

Additionally, both companies were issued citations from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
 

Between the two companies, the fines total $131,000.
 

Because of the willful violation related to the fatality, Lindamood has been placed in the severe violator enforcement program, which will require follow up inspections.
