COLLEGE STATION -- A pair of thieves in College Station are caught red-handed with 15 stolen purses after a store's prevention loss officer followed them in his car until police could catch up.

21-year-old Edwin Johnson Jr. and 30-year-old Temeika Torbor, both from Houston, are accused of attempting to steal more than $2,300 worth of purses Sunday night from TJ Maxx in College Station.

Both were arrested for theft and Johnson is also charged with giving officers a fake identity.
