CTX man arrested for robbing Temple credit union

A man accussed of robbing Temple credit union is being held by the Temple Police Department after a tip led authorites to his location.

Friday, around 10:50 a.m., detectives from the Temple Police Department’s General Investigations Unit, operating on an anonymous tip, responded to a motel located in the 1100 block North General Bruce Drive.

Officers located Karl Dean Moore, a 47 year old Temple man, exiting a room at the motel. Moore, who was already wanted on an unrelated theft warrant, was taken into custody without incident.

Detectives found evidence which linked Mr. Moore to the robbery at Texas Partners Credit Union in his possession.

The case has been reviewed with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and a federal complaint was issued. Mr. Moore is being held at the federal detention facility in Waco pending his arraignment.
