Detectives searching for man who burglarized a Family Dollar

Waco P.D
Thursday, July 10, 2014 - 2:07pm

Waco detectives need help identifying a man who was involved in a Family Dollar store burglary back in June.

Detectives say a white male, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and a cap entered into the Family Dollar located on New Road shortly after 3:00 a.m through a broken front door window.
The front door was broken with a sledge hammer by two other men who entered the store in an attempt to get into the safe.

According to Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton with the Waco Police Department, the white male entered the broken door and stole a couple items. Officers believe this was a crime of opportunity case and not related to the initial break-in.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Teague at 254-750-3612 and reference to Case #14-10778 or Waco Crime Stoppers at 254-753-HELP (4357).
