BRAZOS COUNTY -- A house fire in Brazos County destroys a family's home.

Four fire departments battled the blaze that started just after 1:30 this morning on the 8700 block of Mark Street.

The fire destroyed not only the house but also a nearby parked car.

We're told the family was not home at the time of the blaze and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
