WACO - Texas unemployment rate rose slightly in October, but it did add jobs.
A Texas Workforce Commission report released last week says the jobless rate rose a point to 8.3%.
The state added 41,700 hundred jobs for just the second time in the past year.
Education and health services had the biggest increase among job sectors adding almost 1,500 jobs.
