(CNN) — Reverend Billy Graham has been getting healthier over the last few days.
He recently suffered about the respiratory infection.
His son recently told CNN that the evangelists vitals were stable but that he was weak. His son was also asking for prayers for his ailing father. Graham's nephew, Mel Graham, also says he appears to be doing much better.
"Overall we are encouraged. He's doing great today. He had a nice breakfast, he sat up in bed and had oatmeal and a banana, and his favorite fluffy cat was right there by his side with him," said Mel.
Founding the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Reverend Billy Graham reached millions of people in person by staging revivals he called 'crusades' all over the world.
