A Central Texas man and his two sons were arrested Friday after reportedly fighting with a sheriff's deputy.

According to authorities, a Coryell County deputy tried to stop one of the sons, identified as Jacob Amspacher, while walking in the Pidcoke area Friday evening. That's when Amspacher and the deputy got into an argument, which then escalated into a fight. Amspacher's father and brother, Melvin Amspacher Sr. and Melvin Amspacher Jr. came and joined in the fight against the deputy. Other deputies responded to the scene, and all three men ended up in jail over the weekend.

Melvin Sr. and Melvin Jr. face charges of interference with public duties while Jacob is charged with assault causing injury on a peace officer, among other charges.
