A fire in North Waco has the local fire marshal investigating yet another possible arson.

Instead of a vacant building, this time the fire destroyed four brand new condos in the process of being complete.

The Waco Fire Department responded to a call around 2:30 a.m Sunday.

Crews responded to a massive fire at the Cameron Heights housing development on the corner of Fourth Street and Bosque Boulevard.

The neighborhood is a $6,000,000 project aimed to spur development around downtown Waco.

In all, eight different units were destroyed.

Waco Fire Marshal Kevin Vranich said the fire could be another in a string of possible arson fires that have plagued the North Waco area in the past 18 months.

Roughly two-dozen arson fires have been reported in that time frame.

Developers of the so-called 'pocket neighborhood' are still aiming for a fall completion.
