COLLEGE STATION, Tx (KYLE) — A former Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service employee turned herself in after being accused of stealing more than $24,000.

Lorenza Nunez is accused of misusing a Texas 4H Foundation checking account as well as making fraudulent credit card charges.

She reportedly took more than $24,000 from the foundation from July 2011 to December 2012.

She was terminated in January.
