Former Killeen High School teacher arrested for sexual relationship with student

The Killeen Police Department arrested a former Killeen High School teacher for an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Detectives determined Samuel Antonio Caines Jr.,55, had a nine month sexual relationship with a 16-year-old female.

Caines, was placed on administrative leave on February 14, 2014 and has since been fired.

The Bell County District Attorney’s Office charged the 55-year-old with a Inappropriate Relationship Between Educator and Student, 2nd degree Felony.Caines was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke on Thursday, June 19. He was later released after posting a $100,000 bond.
