Fort Hood soldier arrested, charged with transporting stolen explosives
Waco, Tx — Friday morning, a Fort Hood soldier remained in federal custody after being charged with possession and transportation of stolen explosive material.
Tyler Glen Patrick was arrested in Copperas Cove on Wednesday after reportedly trying to sell nearly a pound and a half block of C-4 explosive. The explosive is believed to have been stolen after a field exercise on Fort Hood.
If convicted, Patrick could face up to ten years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
