Killeen, Tx — A Fort Hood soldier turned himself in Monday after the Killeen Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest.

Jason Williams Ausburn is accused of sexually assaulting a then 12-year-old girl at a local residence.

The 13-year-old girl reported the alleged incident to Killeen ISD back in March. School administration alerted Child Protective Services, who then filed a report with the KPD.

After a lengthy investigation, authorities obtained a warrant for Ausburn's arrest this week.
