Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate, Greg Abbott, today released the following statement regarding some Central Texas medical care providers choosing to opt out of ObamaCare.

"In the wake of an embarrassing ObamaCare rollout, millions of Americans are learning they will lose their healthcare coverage," said Abbott. "Recently, we learned Texas' largest independence cancer practice will not be able to offer coverage due to the unknown costs of ObamaCare, leaving many patients with substantially higher medical bills or no access to healthcare at all."

"Not only are individuals being dropped from their previous plans lef and right, they are also being denied access to life-saving treatments due to the involuntary plan being forced up on individuals under this program," said Abbott. "ObamaCare was mean to take Americans from uninsured to insured but is instead having the opposite effect. I urge Texas citizens to contact their representatives in Washington and demand action beofre our healthcare system unravesl beyond repair."
