Hearing scheduled next week after four kids removed from home by CPS
WACO -- New details tonight after four children were removed from a home in Waco following reports of neglect and deplorable living conditions.
Last Friday at a home in the 2100 block of Jefferson, four kids ranging from one to four-years-old were taken into custody by CPS.
Investigators tell us the house was filled with dirty clothes, dishes, trash, dog feces and roaches.
The kids were found unwashed and in dirty diapers.
"We're, you know, currently working with the parents to see if they can provide a clean environment and healthy environment for their children," said Julie Moody, CPS spokesperson.
Reports say the children were living with their grandmother in the house.
A court hearing is scheduled for Tuesday of next week.
