Hundreds of 55+ look to roll 300 in Waco


33rd Annual Texas State Senior Tournament

Starting Friday and lasting the next three weekends, two Waco bowling alleys will be hosting the 33rd Annual Texas State Senior Tournament.

Hundreds of young whippersnappers from all regions of the state will be taking to the lanes to determine who is the best bowler in the state.

Five different age groups from 55 and up will be competing for individual glory as well as team championships.

The tournament starts Friday afternoon and will last every weekend for the next three weeks.

Competitors and enthusiasts will be arriving from all areas of the state.

They say it’s a good way to stay active and enjoy the act of sport with others.

The tournament will be held at both the Lake Air and Westview AMF bowling alleys.
