COLLEGE STATION -- In one month, College Station's biggest eyesore will be reduced to rubble.
We're told the implosion will happen early in the morning between 6:30 and 7 on Thursday, May 24th.
The public is invited to come and watch. A viewing area will be set up somewhere on Texas A&M's campus.'
BPI superintendent, Bob English, says it's a site you won't want to miss.
"Everybody in town knows what it is so it will be missed but that's progress and it's time for out with the old and in with the new."
A meeting will be held within the next couple of weeks to inform the public of all the finalized details before the implosion takes place.
