kILLEEN, TEXAS — A Killeen man, who has already pleaded not guilty to three counts of attempted capital murder in connection to a shooting last month that left an officer dead, has now been indicted on capital murder.
Marvin Louis Guy, 49, was arrested and booked into the Bell County jail on a $3 million bond following the shooting.
According to police, four officers were attempting to execute a narcotic search warrant around 5:30 a.m. on May 9 at 1104 Circle M Drive, apartment 3 in Killeen.
Detective Charles "Chuck" Dinwiddie, died at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 11, at Scott and White Memorial Hospital. Dinwiddie was an 18 year veteran with the department and spent 15 of those years on the SWAT Team.

Officer Odis Denton, a nine year veteran with the department, was shot in the leg. Two other officers were also shot, but their wounds were in an area protected by safety gear. They were treated and released from Scott & White shortly after being admitted.
