Killeen, Texas (KWKT) — Killeen Police are investigating the death of a 32-year-old man.
It happened in the the 100 block of west Anderson Street, police were told there was a man who was unconscious and not breathing inside his apartment.
On arrival, officers were told they were told by a co-worker that they were checking on the man because they had not heard form him and he had not shown up to work the day before.
When they went inside the apartment, the found the man with apparent trauma to his head.
The man was pronounced dead at 7:14 p.m. by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke.
Cooke ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.
The man's name is being withheld until the next of kin is notified.
