Killeen Police looking for four suspects involved in late night shooting

Killeen Police are investigating a late night shooting that occurred early this morning.

It happened around 12:14 a.m. in the 2000 block of Schwald Road. Officers were called for a disturbance and were later told there was one gunshot victim and a second victim in the 2200 block of Garrett Drive.

Previous investigation found that four armed men, all wearing masks, forced their way into a home and demanded money.

As the resident attempted to run to the back of the house, he was shot in the leg.

The second victim attempted to run to the front of the house and was shot in the back.

The four suspects left in an unknown vehicle going southbound on Schwald Road.

Both victims were taken to local hospitals and are in stable condition at this time.
