KILLEEN — Killeen Police Department responded to a report of a shooting on Sunday afternoon. 

Authorities located a man with a gunshot wound to his leg at the 1100 block of Crestridge Drive around 1:15 p.m.

The victim advised officials that it was a male known to him that triggered the gun after a verbal tiff.

The investigation continues and more information will be released as it is available.
